Minister in presidency, Radebe will today host imbizo in Limpopo

The Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Jeff Radebe will be visiting Limpopo Province to conduct Front Line Service Delivery Monitoring (FSDM) followed by community Imbizo as part of the 6th National Imbizo focus week where members of the Executive across the three spheres of government will interact with South Africans countrywide.
The 6th Imbizo Focus Week scheduled for the 17th to 23rd April 2017 under the theme: “Together we move South Africa forward” will be implemented as part of the post-SoNA programme and is aimed at galvanising society to actively participate in the implementation of the NDP as a roadmap towards radical socioeconomic transformation and social cohesion.
Implementing the NDP requires a multi-sectoral collaboration between, government and all its social partners. Therefore, the Minister will encourage active citizenry within various sectors of society, including business, civil society and faith based communities.
The Front Line Service Delivery Monitoring (FSDM) visits to various government service delivery will be conducted by the Minister to assess the quality of services offered to the community and to determine sustainable interventions required for those facilities.
Unannounced service delivery visits is expected to kick-start at 09h00-11h00 on Friday, meanwhile the community Imbizo is schedule to start at 12h00-14h00 at Hlohlokwe Community Hall, in Maruleng Municipality.
