Makhushane public violence suspects were denied bail

Three suspects briefly appeared before Namakgale magistrate court today. The suspects are facing malicious damage to property and Public violence charges.

Their arrest came after a group of community members went on rampage on Tuesday night and torched trucks and barricated roads at Makhushane outside Phalaborwa in Limpopo.

Police spokesperson LT. Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said “On arrival at the scene we found that four trucks belonging to different companies were set on fire and completely burnt and seven other trucks were safely escorted out of the parking depot to the mine”

Police in Phalaborwa have launched a massive manhunt for a group of community members who went on rampage last night and torched trucks and barricated roads

The suspects Dumisani Ngobeni 30,  Selby Disco Mokgalaboni 40, Victor Monyela 42 were denied bail, and their case is reminded to May. Police said “All suspects still in custody”
