Nkhensani Hospital had received a helping hand after a long period of struggle

Director of Nkhensani Hospital Services (NHS), Beauty Maluleke had welcomed assistance from Giyani Muslim Business Community (MBC), working inconjunction with the Greater Giyani Municipality, (GGM).

MBC’s spokesperson Ntsako Ngobeni said they have donated 45 mattresses, 64 blankets, 10 water drums, 288 Juices, 5 boxes of Apples and Bananas respectively to the needy at Nkhensani hospital on Friday.

The Greater Giyani Municipality was represented by the mayor Cllr Sasavona Mathebula and members of the executive committee (EXCO), whereas the Muslim community was represented by the father of Muslim Church in Giyani Sarfaraj Mustak Jambusariya and directors of many businesses around Giyani township including Gaylia trading.

Maluleke said “It’s such an honour and privilege to receive such visit after a long struggle of shortage in terms of accommodation for our patients”.

Mayor Cllr Mathebula had thanked the Muslim community for their commitment in helping the community of Giyani.

Mathebula said “what the Muslim Community did today (Friday) deserves appreciation as they are ploughing back to the community they are working in”

Father of the Muslim Church Sarfaraj Mustak Jambusariya thanked the municipality and the hospital for giving them an opportunity to showcase their ability in humanity and looking forward for giving out help to other sectors within the community of Giyani

Mustak said “we were honoured today (Friday) as we were afforded an opportunity to show that we care about the community that welcomed us well in their city”

Ngobeni said “after the official gathering the whole team went out for ward rounds where they visited Male, Female and Paediatric wards to encourage Malaria patients to take their treatment and get better”.
