Cash- in-transit suspects still on loose after they robbed G4S Cash- in- transit security guards undisclosed amount of cash in Giyani town on Monday.
According to eyewitness, the suspects fired shots at the security guards before they got off with the cash.
Mbhoni Mnisi who spoke with Giyani View reporter said ” I was terrified in the manner in which the suspects started to fire shots at the Cash-in-transit guards”.
“Everybody had to run for cover when shots were fired in town”. Mnisi said
Meanwhile police in Giyani have launched a massive manhunt for the four armed suspects.
Captain Mamphaswa Seabi said ” the suspects pointed the guards with firearms, and assaulted them (guards) and the suspects sped off in a sky-blue Audi with Gauteng Province registration, 06413GP”.
“The police are appealing to anyone with information to contact constable Shirinda on 072 694 4056 or the Crime Stop Number on 08600 10111”. Seabi added
