On Tuesday, the community of Waterval blew a whistle to the police which led to the arrest of a 35 year old Medical Doctor Paul Lekalakala.
Lekalakala works for the Department of health and social development at Elim hospital outside Louis Trichard.
Lakalakala was found in possession of (2) two different types of drugs; dagga that weighed 0,04 grams and Nyaope which weighed 0,01 grams, His accomplice of 32 years old Vukosi Maluleke has been found in possession of dagga that weighed 0,07 grams.
The Doctor and his accomplice were arrested on Wednesday outside the school in Waterval, Elim.
It’s alleged that Lekalakala and Maluleke were selling drugs to the pupils, and Lekalakala might be taking some of the drugs from his work place for his own benefit.
Lekalakala and Maluleke appeared before the Waterval magistrate court on Thursday, and they were granted R1000 bail each.
Their case has been postponed to the 1st of August 2017, for further investigations.
