Giyani- Former Jomo Cosmos attacking midfielder Wiseman ‘Madlaya’ Maluleke parted ways with the Club after his contract came to an end on the 30th of June this year.
Maluleke took to facebook on Thursday to bid farewell to his followers and club supporters.
In his facebook status, Maluleke broke news about his departure from the club and also thanked club boss Jomo Sono for his contribution in his soccer career.
During his 3 years tenure with Ezenkosi, Maluleke scored a goal which took Cosmos to ABSA Premier Soccer League (PSL) during the 2015/16 season promotion relegation play-offs.
Talking to Giyani View Sports on Saturday, he said scoring that goal was the best thing since he started his professional soccer career.
“Words can’t really express how i felt. It was unbelievable. It was the best moment due to the importance of the goal”, Maluleke said.
Asked weather he has already scored a new contract with any team, Maluleke said he is unable to devulege into details about any contract or his next move in the meantime but the future looks bright for him, Maluleke claimed.
“The future looks very bright. I have no doubt i will be playing in PSL next season. My agent Prosport International is busy negotiating with few PSL clubs”, he added.
He said in 5 years time he wants to see himself playing for one of the 3 big clubs in the country and wearing Bafana Bafana jersey with pride.
Cosmos club’s football manager Bamuza Sono wasn’t reached for a comment on Saturday.
