LIMPOPO-The South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU) in Limpopo encouraged educators to hit the ground running as schools reopened for the third term on Monday.

Teachers were motivated to make an impact by effectively teaching and no learner should be left unattended from now on until the last day of attending.

Limpopo education department led by MEC Ishmael Kgetjepe, went all out on Monday to officially welcome back learners from winter holidays.

The MEC visited schools that are performing very well including Moshobaba and Kgokoa Secondary schools as part of efforts to evalute progress made in this academic year.

After the overall visits Kgetjepe said he spoke to teachers who are working beyond their normal call of duty and has heard challenges that the schools are currently facing.

“There are more challenges that these schools are facing and as a department we are going to look at them and try to come with solutions,” said MEC kgetjepe.
