LIMPOPO – New Polokwane City signed Wiseman Maluleke said he understands the effort that is expected from him by his new home, the Limpopo outfit after finishing last season in the top eight for the first time in their history.

The 25-year-old Xikukwani outside Giyani born player moved from National First Division outfit Jomo Cosmos, penning a three-year deal with Rise and Shine.

Maluleke has already received a run out for his new club, featuring for them in a pre-season tournament that involved Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits.

“Being part of Polokwane City is a great feeling. I am already feeling at home after they welcomed me with warm hearts and everyone is helping me to adjust to the philosophy of the team,” says the energetic midfielder.

When asked about his daily inspirations in his soccer career, he quoted his 2 favoritesTiyani Mabunda of Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates’s Gladwin Shitolo both from his home town, Giyani.

“I started realizing that everything is possible after looking at how Mabunda and Shitolo made their selves big brands in the PSL.” Concluded Maluleke
