The case against Austine Nhuluvhe (43) and Kheyi Billy (42) has been
postponed to next Thursday for a formal bail application.
The two suspects were arrested for the ritual murder of 16 year old
Rhirandzu Manganye at Gumbani village in Malamulele.
The duo are believed to be responsible for the murder of the deceased
whose mutilated body was found in July this year after she left home to relieve herself at the nearby bushes near the river at Gumbani
village. Manganye never returned home, and her body was discover later.
The two suspects appeared before the Malamulele Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday for a bail application, and they were remanded in custody.
Limpopo police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo says the duo have been in custody since their arrest on 17 August 2017 and will appear again in the same court next week.
