POLOKWANE- MAN SUSPECTED OF GIRLFRIEND’S MURDER HANDS HIMSELF OVER

A murder suspect was arrested, after he handed himself over to the Seshengo Police on Wednesday, 25 October 2017 at around 20:00.
Provincial Police Spokesperson Lt Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said the suspect had been on the run since the incident on Monday.

“He was hiding at different places including in Rusternburg area of the North-West Province and Bela-Bela area until he couldn’t take the pressure anymore”.

He added that the suspect was highly wanted in connection with domestic related murder which occurred on Monday, 23 October 2017 in Zone 4, Seshego.

“The 23 year old deceased Lebogang Lamola, was left alone at home on Monday morning and when her mother came back in the afternoon at about 17:30 , she found her lying dead in her bedroom with multiple stab  wounds throughout  her body and it was suspected that she might have been killed by her boyfriend”,Ngoepe said
Ngoepe confirmed that the matter was reported to the Police who reacted swiftly and started with their initial investigations and manhunt issued.

“The suspect will appear before the Seshego Magistrate Court soon on a charge of murder. The Police investigations are still continuing”.
