Sandton- Few years ago, Boti Majuly, born July Mabunda existed, however, had, remained unpopular! But fast forward to 2017, his name has trended in the social media, making him the most loved man in South Africa by force.
Majuly initiated #YenaAyakwini by default. July Mabunda, after he was recorded avenged his aunt after she allegedly insulted him! The videos recorded by Dance Makhubele (28, the son of Xitsonga legendary musician H.W Makhubele,captured Majuly applying profane words against his aunt, Kokwani Khubhani Mbhiza which went viral on social media.
The videos have resulted in Tirhani Mabasa (of Humba Communication and SABC Xitsonga weather anchor) recognising Mabunda and ultimately featured him in a single titled Bambeni where Boti-majuly hails from. Now Mabasa manages Majuly, making him a celebrity in a very short space of time!
Mabunda the recently beneficiary of ongoing government housing initiative will have his RDP house opened officially on the 24th of December 2017.

#YenaAyakwini and video clips were even used by radio stations such as Metro FM, Ukhozi FM, YFM and SABC 1 Sports @10 and Soccer zone.
Bambeni residents in Giyani believe that Mabunda and Makhubele deserve a great price for producing the best hashtag in 2017 #YenaAyakwini.
Somisa Mkansi a radio personality said: “It’s a great honour that in this remote village we can produce a person like Boti-majuly who entertains the nation. And the fact that it’s the first hashtag initiated by Xitsonga speaking person that got the nation glued on it, it is amazing,” said Mkansi.
