Giyani- Rixaka Funerals (parlour) with its headquarters in Giyani celebrated its 10 Years of existence and funeral services provisions in Giyani, Limpopo and other provinces across the country on Saturday 11th November.

The gala dinner event held at Giyani community Hall, which was also a brand re-launch, was attended by the likes of Munghana Lonene (MLFM) and SABC 2 Ngulaya Vutivi presenter ,Sydney Baloyi and his co-host Dj Brian, entrepreneurs, business people, local Headmen from Giyani and Malamulele as well as staff from Tirhani Group Holdings.

Rixaka acting CEO Dr Richard Chauke officially unveiled the new brand logo which has distinctive marks.
Chauke said the new logo which resembles two people holding hands, is a sign of unity; white colour is a sign of safety as well as the heart resembling the love the company has for its clients and the community at large.

“As Rixaka we are dedicated to serving our clients beyond limit. We want to unleash the pressure families usually undergo in an unfortunate event of death with our remarkable services,” Dr Chauke said.

Dr Tirhani Mabunda, CEO of Tirhani Group Holdings, Rixaka funerals founder and vision bearer shared ups and down experiences the company had undergone since its inception.
Mabunda said it was not an easy journey but with dedication he managed to reach to this level. “I thank all the people who have been with me through this journey, the people who made it through difficult times in the business until today.”

He said as Tirhani Group Holdings where Rixaka funerals is a subsidiary, they were concerned with delivering quality services as well as quality business management hence they have about five executive members with PhDs and about twenty with Masters Degree’s in various fields.

Mabunda further bragged about the new head office and a state of art mortuary they are building in Giyani.

“We are building a state of art mortuary and plan to build the same in Malamulele and Tzaneen areas are on the Pipeline.”

During the event Dr Chauke and Dr Mabunda honoured six long serving employees with a certificate of appreciation and prize money of R5000 each.

Head of marketing, Xikombiso Makhubele promised to give the best services in town, exceptionally going forward.

Attendees were entertained by Xitsonga music legend Eckson Maluleke and Shinombelani Sister as well as MLFM presenter Magubani da Franchise on the decks.
