GIYANI- On Sunday evening Giyani Revolution Task Team (GRTT) has released a statement making several allegations of bribes and defeating the ends of Justice.
Ahead of whistle blower and an activist Thembani Maswanganyi’s appearance before the Giyani magistrate court on Monday (today).
Maswanganyi was granted R5000 bail in October 23 last year after facing charges of malicious damage to property.
Maswanganyi made another court appearance on the 21st of November 2017 pending state investigations and his case was remanded for January 15, 2018, today.
In the statement GRTT “Giyani Revolutionary in Chief Thembani De Rebel Chavani will appear before Giyani Magistrate Court B for a fake case of Maliciously Damaging GCR FM studio on 20 Oct 2017.
“Allegations of fraud and corruption exults that GCR FM officials were trying to bribe police to re-arrest Thembani which failed over false propaganda issues relating to Facebook.
“On second attempt GCR FM officials received a bribe from a local Prophet who sent a Giant church member to convince Head of Detectives to Squash the case against a son of a Prophet who allegedly wrecked studio equipment on the same day Thembani and his task team commissioned the crime at GCR FM.
“State will have no option but to withdraw all charges against De Rebel.
“All staunch sympathisers of the struggle against fraud and corruption in Giyani are officially invited to come and embarrass the fake media house in Giyani Called GCR FM desperate attempts to gain easy glory against your powerful and brave leader.
“GCR FM has become so desperate that all their programs now criticise Thembani to gain listenership.
“Meanwhile Mr Pree, station manager still faces more than 76 charges of fraud for stealing radio station funds to finance his cheap lifestyle .
