PHALABORWA- Four tracks and three trailers were burnt down to ashes on Friday night at a plant hiring company in Phalaborwa.

Police in Phalaborwa are investigating a case of malicious damage to property following this incident.

Giyani cluster police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Robert Netshiunda said “a security guard who was on duty at the time alleges that he saw fire coming out of the trucks which were parked inside the yard.

“By the time the fire brigade arrived at the scene four trucks and three trailers worth R10.4 million were already burnt.

“No arrests have been made and anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest police station.” Concluded Netshiunda
