LIMPOPO- Three minor children between the age of five and seven were allegedly knocked by a speeding car along Tshivhulana tarmac road next to Tshivhulana Primary School on Friday 16 March.
The Police were alerted of the accident and reacted to the matter. They found the minors still lying on the ground with serious injuries.
Limpopo Police Spokesperson LT. Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says the minors were taken to hospital, unfortunately the seven-year-old was reported dead on arrival.
“The deceased, Vutomi Baloyi (7) and the two survivors were identified as learners from the above-mentioned Primary school and the village,” said Ngoepe.
Drivers are urged to obey road rules at all times whether they are passing along roads next school or not.
“The cause of accident is still unknown at this stage, however Police investigations continue,” Ngoepe concluded.
