PHALABORWA- Mopani TVET college, Sir Val Duncan campus in Namakgale outside Phalaborwa town has suspended all the students until April 9, 2018 following the students protest last week against the implementation of ERS system which the students believe it’s unfair.
Speaking to Giyani View some of the students says the implemented clocking system needs at least 80% of students attended.
“We are also protesting against the abuses of NSFAS by the management. Money for accommodation reflects on our statements, but we aren’t receiving the exact amount,” Claimed some of the students.
College spokesperson, Tiyani Mboweni says the ERS system has been working for the past two years at Phalaborwa campus.
