POLOKWANE – The persistent efforts by members of the South African Police Service in Limpopo to bring perpetrators to book have paid off when the third suspect who was allegedly involved in the brutal murder of a Polokwane businessman Ngoako William Mathebula on February 20th this year was arrested.
The suspect aged 41, was nabbed yesterday at Olifansfontein in Tembisa. This was after the intensive investigations conducted by the Polokwane detectives and the Provincial Tracking Team.
Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo of the SAPS in Limpopo says that the suspect will join his two partners in crime, the wife of the deceased Nakedi Nelley Mathebula (42) and Simon Ramela (40).
“The three will appear in Polokwane magistrate’s court this morning for a formal bail application after they were charged with conspiracy to commit murder and murder respectively,” said Mojapelo.
The police are still looking for Victor Mashakeng as it is believed he will be able to assist in the ongoing investigations of this case.
