POLOKWANE- Mughana Lonene FM top hat DJs Brian Rikhotso and Sydney Baloyi are the most victims of Munghana line- up reshuffle after the new line- up was presented on Friday night.
The program reshuffle took place during the Makhado transmitter officially launch.
Rikhotso and Baloyi worked together on a morning breakfast show, Phaphama since 2009.

Giyani View learned that the show was one of the most listened show on Munghana Lonene’s frequency. Meanwhile, the 326 Thwii duo, Quintin Baloyi and Conny Mkateko Mashaba are still together on the afternoon drive.
The 326 Thwii producer, Xolani N’jobu wrote on Twitter that, “thank you @Munghana for trusting us with the responsibility to drive the listener’s home daily, we’re officially the longest serving drive show in Limpopo… here’s to many more years #MunghanaLoneneReshuffle”.
DJ Brian had been demoted to 13h30- 15h00 Monday to Friday show, Dzumba na mina which was presented by Russell Kwinika who moved to a graveyard slot Gongomela from 22h00- 12h55, Monday to Friday.
Baloyi has been demoted to 12h05- 13h30 Monday to Friday slot, Africa wa vulavula which saw Pat Khalanga Mathebula moved to morning drive show, Phaphama.
Khalanga and Khensani Nyango alongside with Sipho Chauke as their producer will be in the realm of Phaphama breakfast show as effective from 2nd of May 2018.
Former SABC Mughana Lonene FM DJ told Giyani View that the reshuffle has afforded other DJs an opportunity to prove their talents. “I, just feel that Mchangan deserved a prime-time slot, but anyway one is better than nothing,” he said.
SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago wasn’t immediately reached for a comment.
