Polokwane- Munghana Lonene FM’s new programmes manager Tebogo Jacko Magubane formerly known as Magubane Da FranchiZ started working on his new post on the 1st of September this year.
Magubane who was station’s afternoon drive show 326 Thwii producer, alongside Quintonizer, Connizer and Goodwill Nziane took to social media to announce his last day as MLFM’s radio producer.
“I can now officially announce that tomorrow (31 August) will be my last day on @326Thwii my production career officially comes to a happy ending
“@quintonizer @nzianeg and the lovely @ConnyMikateko made ya’ll made my exit a blissful one #Humbled #Blessed #Grateful” he wrote on his twitter account to his thousand followers.
Magubane has a Diploma in Administration with a private college, Accounting at Technikon Pretoria (now TUT) and Media Studies, he also enrolled for an LLB Degree with Unisa.
He started working at the Tshwane University of Technology as an IT Technician, a Student Publication Editor and Marketing Officer. He got his presenting skills while doing the Breakfast Show and then the Afternoon Drive at Tshwane FM the campus radio station.
Magubane started at Munghana Lonene as a presenter where he hosted International Top 30 and Ta Mbilu Yanga, then joined the station’s Breakfast Show Phaphama along side the legendary Sydney Baloyi and Dj Brian as Imaging Producer, early this year he was moved to 326 Thwii when MlFM change their line-up for 2018/19.
He added on twitter that “Magubane Da FranchiZ” is undergoing a serious re branding and from now on as programmes manager, he will be known as Tebogo Jacko Magubane “I had insomnia last night, I have Goosebumps since morning.
“No, I’m not clever enough, I’m blessed. the person that was ‘Magubane the FranchiZ’ is undergoing a serious re branding. I will now be known as Tebogo Jacko Magubane. I’m going back to speak, facilitating and debating” he tweeted.
Magubane’s production slot included Dj Brian’s Dzumba na mina, Thembzana’s shows Switshongo 9 to 12 which won Liberty Radio Awards for the best weekend show and Ta duma 21H00 to 00H00. He was announced as the “Producer of the year” by Munghana Lonene FM in 2013.
