Giyani- Xilumani coaches has promised to reward whoever will come forth with the information that can lead to the whereabouts of the suspect, who stabbed and killed a 19-year-old boy, and the suspects involved in assaulting and killing another person who was found unconscious outside Giyani stadium during the #FillUpGiyaniStadium festival on the 1st of September 2018.

Greater Giyani Municipality (GGM) spokesperson, Steven Mavunda told Giyani View that the person who was found outside the stadium died a few hours later at Nkhensani Hospital.

“Well, to say two people were killed in Giyani stadium is a wrong statement, because, one body was found in the venue and the other person who was found unconscious outside the venue and unfortunately the person died a few hours later in hospital”, says Mavunda.

During the radio interview on Tuesday, Xilumani coaches director, Howard Mashava sound worried and concerned about the discovery of a person who was found unconscious outside the stadium.

“We have arrested five men in possession of fake tickets estimated to be in the value of 250K, and you will never know if this person was having a legit ticket or not and why he was outside the stadium.

“If, there’s someone who know the family of this person, we would like to have their contacts”, says Mashava.

Meanwhile, Giyani View has been reliably informed that the family of the 19-year-old boy suspects the girlfriend might have stabbed their son to death.

Our source close to the family claims that the deceased was abusive to the girlfriend which might have led the girlfriend to stab the deceased.

Limpopo police spokesperson, L.T. Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe when asked, if the police have taken the girlfriend for questioning, he said they should be given space to investigate into the matter.
