Phalaborwa- The destitute families of the two children who tragically died last Thursday, after they drowned in the cattle dip-tank in Lulekani, “Matiko-xikaya” outside Phalaborwa town will now be able to give their loved ones a decent burial.

This comes after a ward Cllr in the area, Cllr Richard “munhu wa vanhu” Makasela of Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality donated food parcels to the families.

Sikus Kutlwano (4) and Blessing Mnis( 6 ) died after they drowned at the cattle dip-tank at Lulekani “Matiko-xikaya”. It was reported that  parents of the deceased, who are unemployed were struggling to make ends meet and couldn’t afford to bury their loved ones.

The two bodies of the deceased children are expected to be laid to rest on Saturday.
