Giyani – Assault GBH accused Terry Maluleke (39) opened a counter-charge against his assault victim, Tsemisa Chabalala.

Chabalala briefly appeared before Giyani Magistrate Court two weeks ago on charges of common assault laid against her by Maluleke.

In a video making rounds on social media, Chabalala is heard saying Investigators took her for finger print capturing. However, it seems she was never put in custody.

She is further heard saying she is legally represented by Attorney, Sbusiso Mnguni pro bono. “He (Mnguni) said he will represent me for free because I am poor and I don’t have parents,” Chabalala said.

“Howard (understood to be Howard Mashava) gave me R1000, and Benny Mayengani also gave me R1000, others were donating R50s while Mafosi (understood to be Foster ‘Mafosi’ Chauke) topped me with R100 airtime,” she added.

Chabalala is expected to re-appear before the Giyani Magistrate Court this morning.
