Giyani- Limpopo premier Stan Mathabatha says he is optimistic that Limpopo’s matric results will have improved for the better this time around.

The minister of education is expected to announce the 2018 matric results tonight, and Limpopo will announce theirs at a glittering event at the Ranch Hotel on Friday morning.

“I’m still confident that Limpopo can surprise many provinces, and that a higher target is achievable if we all work as hard as we are doing.

“There’s no reason why we can’t beat that record this time around”. he said

The class of 2017 only managed a 65.6% a slight improvement from the class of 2016.

During the 2017 results Limpopo had managed to send the largest contingent of learners to the national results announcement by the minister. These learners also came out in the top 10 and top 5 after having achieved the best results on average.

Limpopo matric results announcements at the Ranch on Friday morning are to be broadcast live on all radio stations in the province

Dignitaries include the South African council of churches, and not forgetting to mention his grace bishop Lekganyane, businesspeople and guests from all districts.
