Newly appointed mayor of Greater Giyani Local Municipality distributes gifts to newborn babies of 2019

Giyani- The newly appointed mayor of Greater Giyani local municipality (GGM), Cllr Basambilu Shibambu who recently took over from Cllr Sasavona Mathebula after she has been fired over VBS saga.

Shibambu has distributed gifts packs to newborn babies at Khensani hospital during her visit on the 01st January 2019.

At least 9 babies were born on the day at Nkhensani Hospital.

Meanwhile, Ba-Phalaborwa local municipality mayor, Pule Shayi, accompanied by ward councillors and the hospital’s CEO, Rebecca Peta welcomed seven (7) newborn babies born on the 1st of January 2019 at Maphutha hospital in Namakgale in the outskirts of Phalaborwa.

According to the department of health spokesperson in Limpopo, Neil Shikwambana the first born Christmas baby was born in Nkhensani hospital on the 25th of December 2018.
