Limpopo’s MEC for Cooperative Governance kick-start the back to school campaign with a visit to Tzaneen

Tzaneen- As thousands of learners start with the 2019 academic year, the acting executive mayor, councillor Anah Sono was on Wednesday joined by the MEC for Cooperative Governance Jerry Ndou on a back to school campaign in the Greater Tzaneen Municipal area.

Cooperative Governance MEC, Ndou who was accompanied by Sono and the local Mayor Maripe Mangena started their day at Merensky High school in Tzaneen and then proceeded to the DZJ Mtebule High school in Nkowankowa.

Ndou urged the class of matric 2019 to study very hard to help  improve the province’s pass rate.

The purpose of the visit was to monitor the start of the school calendar and also encourage both learners and teachers to work hard to help improve the province’s matric results for 2019.
