Phalaborwa- The police in Lulekani have appealed to members of the public to come forward to assist with information regarding a rape case of a minor, which was raped last Saturday.
It is alleged that the girl was on her way home when this incident happened.
Police spokesperson Constable Ntsako Reoh Mabunda says it is further alleged that while on her way she was confronted by two unknown men where one immidiately dragged her into the nearby bushes and raped her.
“After rape took place, the girl ran to the police where the police reacted swiftly on the matter and a rape case was immidiately opened,”
“Police initiated a serious manhunt where their search couldn’t bear any fruits as the suspects are still at large.” says Mabunda
Lulekani police station commander Lt.Col Mackenzie Prince Mkansi condemned such a barbaric actions by the suspects.
“I would like to condemn this barbaric conduct by the suspects, I would like to assure that the heads shall roll to whoever is found as the perpetrator on this case” added Mkansi.
Police are behind these suspects and a possible arrest is promising as the police are busy gathering more information on the matter.
